VANESSA HUNT

Hi everyone, Vanessa here and for me, music is about bringing people together and making new friends.
I started my group Champagne Soul about 7 years ago and we now have 5000 members.

The first thing I do each morning is post a track on the group and I have discovered so much music through
members contributing.

We have monthly residencies and run soul boats from Southampton. 
I am now being asked to play at local festivals and to support bands which is a great honour.
I guess my most memorable DJ moment was playing on the beach front at Kavos before The Brit Funk Association came on stage.

I love all genres of soul but as a dancer, Jazz Funk is the winner.

I look forward to seeing you all in Rhodes at Boutique Soul next summer
